Krewe of Halloween Parade
Oct 2010 (annual)
New Orleans, Louisiana
New Orleans is famous for Mardi Gras, but they don’t take it easy at Halloween either. The Krewe of Halloween’s Parade stretches from the Elysian Fields to Blaine Kern’s Mardi Gras World and is flamboyant in true New Orleans style
Join them this Halloween and be a part of their parade and “Monster Bash”. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
In addition to the annual Halloween Parade, the Krewe of Halloween hosts three events throughout the year- the Open House, a Haunted Fun House and the Monster Bash.
OPEN HOUSE, October 2010
The Krewe of Halloween will preview its ornate floats to members in early October 2010. This day event is family oriented. As the Krewe gears up for the parade, they mingle and finalize last minute details with their co-riders. Members are encouraged to bring family and friends to this festive event. Fair-like amenities will be provided including face painting for kids, games, hotdogs and hamburgers.
The HAUNTED FUN HOUSE, October 2010
This haunted house is actually a haunted “fun” house. The only “funhouse” in New Orleans, it is appropriate for both children and adults.
The MONSTER BASH, October 30th 2010
The Monster Bash is the Krewe of Halloween’s annual Halloween celebration following its Parade! Held on October 30th, this Halloween-themed costume party unites imagination with alter-ego to produce a Halloween celebration yet to be seen. The black and orange extravaganza is outfitted in first-class décor, exquisite Halloween props, themed lighting, thousands of costumed patrons, and phenomenal entertainment! The Monster Bash is guaranteed to impress even the most adept socialites.
Every year this event has grown. In just our first year we had over 1,000 people in attendance. This year we want more people to join our Halloween Celebration! This is one of the best parties in New Orleans! Costumes are encouraged!
