Ohio Horrorfest – The 4th Annual Horror Marathon

The Little Art Theatre in Yellow Springs, Ohio, presents its fourth annual all-night Halloween horror movie marathon, October 9, 2010.

This year’s horror marathon will showcase seven feature films, including rare 35mm screenings of Sam Raimi’s The Evil Dead (1981) and David Cronenberg’s The Brood (1979), plus a high-def digital presentation of Wes Craven’s Scream (1996).

There will also be a double feature of the new documentary Best Worst Movie (in HD) and the movie that inspired it, Troll 2 (1990), in 35mm. The remaining films in the marathon lineup will be announced soon.

The Little Art Theatre is a nonprofit cinema located at 247 Xenia Avenue, Yellow Springs, OH. The theatre is about 20 miles east of Dayton, Ohio; 55 miles west of Columbus, Ohio; and 70 miles north of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Truth or Consequences Film Festival is looking for submissions for a sci-fi/horror film festival scheduled to take place Oct. 29 through 31 in T or C. The first annual Truth or Consequences Halloween and Day of the Dead Film Festival needs “shock, schlock and slasher” flicks in three categories: Less than five minutes, five to 20 minutes and more than 20 minutes. There will be prizes awarded to the best of the fest.
