2010 Nightmares Haunted Attraction

Posted on September 5th, 2010 by admin in Uncategorized

The Night-mares Haunted Attraction in Montvale, New Jersey has announced it’s Haunted Attractions for Halloween 2010.

Night-mares Haunted Attraction is a horror movie style haunted attraction providing over 40,000 square feet of themed rooms, illusions, state-of-the-art animations, and live actors

The Twisted Maniac Trail

At just under 1 acre, The Twisted Maniac Trail is the largest outdoor walk-through attraction of any haunt in the area. For 2009, they held nothing back, providing hollywood style sets, movie quality scares, and superb acting! Fear and excitement lurk around every corner! For those of you who have survived the Twisted Maniac Trail before, 2010 is all new, with unmatched quality! For first-time visitors, get ready to witness your worst Night-mares become reality before your very eyes. You WILL be scared, but you will love every minute of it!!

Carn-Evil in 3D (located inside the Twisted Maniac Trail!)

Do you like clowns? How about evil clowns with power tools?? How about evil clowns with power tools in a flourescent blacklit environment where you can’t tell what’s real and what isnt?? Ah, then welcome to “Carn-Evil in 3D”! Experience the eye-popping effects of “chromadepth” 3D technology in this exclusive attraction, completely updated for 2010, with even more 3D, and more freak-outs! Special 3D glasses are provided at the entrance to the attraction!

The Horror Museum

See original props and costumes from dozens of your favorite horror/sci-fi films. We are the ONLY haunt in the world to have this attraction as it currently stands. Others have tried to copy us, but these props and costumes are almost IMPOSSIBLE to obtain, so other haunts put replicas of common props and costumes in their museums that they purchase off ebay. Not so with us. Every prop and costume in our museum comes straight from the movie studios with full documentation. We have the most insane props and costumes ever shown to the public. Here are some museum highlights, both in the past, and for 2010:

“The Miner’s” full costume and pick axe from “My Bloody Valentine 3D”
Jackie Earle Haley’s (Freddy Krueger) glove from “A Nightmare On Elm Street (2010)”
The Fisherman’s costume from “I Still Know What You Did Last Summer”

Plus props and costumes from the following films:

Amityville Horror (2005)
Knowing
The Ruins
Rob Zombies Halloween
Friday the 13th 2009
SAW 5
Captivity
1408
Hostel 2
Jeepers Creepers 2
Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2006
Scream

And the list goes on and on. You’ve seen the movies. Now see the props and costumes, up close, and personal! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! The Nightmares Haunted Attraction folks guarantee you will not see this at ANY other haunt.

The Nightmares Lot

The fright begins right on their queue line as you are bombarded by zombies, corpses, and towering creatures. Enjoy refreshments while you wait for your nightmare to begin. We sell hot chocolate, hot apple cider, bottled water, soda, and various packaged foods. We also have a vendor who sells cotton candy, fried oreos and more!

The 2010 Nightmares Haunted Attraction is open all weekend nights (Fri, Sat, Sun)  from October 1 – October 31.
